4. Fiscal Audit Services for 12 month period with regards to HCV , Public Housing, Capital Fund Programs
The Housing Authority of the City of South Amboy, NJ, is requesting proposals from qualified parties for provision of the above cited services. Copies of the RFP documents setting forth the scope of services, contract terms and conditions, and proposal submission requirements may be obtained by phoning the Authority's administrative offices (732) 721-1831, Monday thru Thursday (except holidays) between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
The Authority solicits and encourages minority business enterprise participation. MBE's will be afforded all consideration of their responses and will not be subject to discrimination. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Housing Authority also reserves the right to reject the proposal of any respondent who has previously failed to perform properly, or to complete on time contract work of a similar nature; who is not in position to perform the contract; or who has habitually and without just cause neglected the payment of bills or otherwise disregarded his obligations to subcontractors or employees.
The Housing Authority will evaluate all responses in accord with the criteria set forth in the RFP documents. Notice of contract award will be given to the general public and to unsuccessful respondents within (10) days of the award.
The selected contractor shall comply with all applicable, laws, rules, and regulations of the Federal and State of New Jersey governments pertaining to employment and payment of prevailing wages.
In accord with the State of New Jersey Laws of 2004 A- 13130, Ch 57, as of September 1, 2004 all parties doing business with public agencies in the State of New Jersey, excluding other government agencies, are required to be registered with the NJ State Department of the Treasury and provide such agencies with a copy of their Business Registration Certificate before entering into a contractual agreement (formal contract, purchase order, etc.) with such agencies for the provision of goods or services at a cost in excess of 15% of the State mandated bid threshold.

Respondents are advised of the responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement on political contributions with the State of New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13 (P.L. 2005, c. 271.s3) if they receive contracts in excess of $50,000.00 from public entities in a calendar year. It is the contractor's responsibility to determine if filing is necessary. Additional information on this requirement is available from ELEC at 888-313-3532 or at www.elec.state.ni.us.
Sealed proposals ( Original + 2 ) will be accepted up to 3:00 PM prevailing time on Thursday, June,4, 2026, at which time they will be opened publically and read aloud.
